Downtime Announcement.

Due to changes in server hardware, the forum will be unavaliable for some time in the near future. The exact time it will be taken down, and the expected timeframe for the hardware changes, will be announced when they are known.

Any questions will be answered here, or by PM.

For the more techical minded people:

The changes involves a complete reinstallation of the operating system on to a new (And much better) server, due to the need of transfering data from the old server, to the new one, the new server will get a different IP adresses, which also means that the DNS would have to be updated, with all the waiting that involves. (In best case the DNS update will take no more than an hour to get to every DNS server out there.)

The move to a new server, will take place sometime this week. The specific time is unknown, as I'll have to do some testing before I move everything.

However, if everything goes as planned, we'll be running on the new server no later than Friday.

Will the address be changed?

The IP address of the server will be changed, however, thats nothing you as a user will ever notice.

The reason for the IP change is, that I'm moving everything from one server to another, and need both running at the same time for a few days (For moving the data, and testing that everything is working as expected.)

But you will still have to type offmb.nikkiwebster.dk to get to the board, just as you've always done.
